Library books are free to read so why do people buy them? well many people don't know this
but they are covered in germs, some pages are torn or soiled in some thing so people buy them brand new, if your a germaphobe and want to spend alot a money, buying ebooks for your ebook reader this is a clean and expensive way to go. Or you could just wash your hands after you read a book.

Books vs Ebooks vs Audio Books
What do you prefer I usually don't read books when I go to the library I tend to pick up a Magazine or use the internet and read an ebook what if you could watch a book while it reads to you like for instanst something that would be on youtube I can't stand reading long books
I'd rather have it read to me not to sound childish but reading books is boring.
having someone read them was always easy cause all you had to do was listen
now don't get me wrong if its a book that interest me I'll read it.
but I think thats why they invented audio books
Ebooks online that usually say "how to make money online" and "how to build kit cars"
which one do you think you would read first?
Some Ebooks can be made as an audio book if the publisher adds sound to the top and you scroll down as he the pulisher of the Ebook reads it to you.
